Job summary

AV is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to manage day-to-day AP activities across business segments. You will train staff, resolve issues, and oversee invoice entry and payment processing to ensure proper coding, approvals, and timeliness.

You will report to the Sr. Manager, Accounts Payable and help drive process improvements while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements. This role requires collaboration across teams and hands-on supervision.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• 2+ years supervising 5+ staff.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with government contracting (FAR/CAS) preferred.
• Experience with Unanet or Oracle Fusion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Voucher AP invoices and support check runs, ACH and wires.
• Review AP aging and payment requests for timely approvals.
• Coordinate verification of open receipts and resolve discrepancies.
• Review supplier setup including payment terms and banking info.
• Ensure timely month-end close and accruals for AP.
