Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead and oversee AP operations within a large, complex organization in Clearwater, FL. This role focuses on managing a high-volume AP function, developing the team, strengthening controls, and driving accountability while partnering closely with Finance leadership.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of AP supervisory experience in a large organization, a track record of delivering results, and the ability to implement efficient processes using ERP

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AP supervisory/management experience.
• AP experience within a large organization.
• Experience overseeing complex, high-volume AP processes and controls.
• Proven people leadership, including developing teams, driving accountability, and delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day Accounts Payable operations and an experienced AP team.
• Manage, develop, and mentor AP employees while establishing clear expectations and accountability.
• Oversee complex, high-volume invoice processing, payment activities, and AP controls.
• Ensure accurate 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.
• Monitor AP performance, identify issues, and drive timely resolution and departmental results.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Partner with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to improve AP processes and efficiencies.
• Leverage ERP systems and technology to support effective and scalable AP operations.
