Job summary

Starplast-USA in Humble, TX is seeking an AP Specialist to join our back-office accounting team. This full-time clerical role focuses on matching, batching, and coding invoices, resolving AP issues, processing expense reports, and ensuring accurate sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliation.

You will interact with vendors and internal partners, perform PO matching, manage AP tasks in the ERP environment (SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks), and support audit activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks) for processing invoices and payments.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to internal business partners.
• Purchase Order Matching.
• Organize work queue in AP Scan solution.
• Carry out additional projects as required.
• Carry out T&E task when necessary.
• Voucher, complete and review consolidated vendor statements.
• Mediate and resolve vendors questions in a positive manner.
• Provide internal and external audit assistance as required.
• Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed.
• Handle the administrative needs of the AP Manager.
