Job summary

RethinkFirst, a market leader in behavioral health technology, is seeking an AP Specialist to join our accounting and finance team.

You will handle full-cycle accounts payable, process invoices in Sage Intacct, match to POs and receiving docs, and reconcile vendor statements. This role supports month-end close, expense reports, and procurement system workflows while upholding internal controls and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and general accounting practices.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with an ERP system such as Sage Intacct preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle AP, including invoicing in Sage Intacct and GL coding.
• Match invoices to POs and receiving docs with proper approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate AP questions with employees, vendors, and internal departments.
• Assist with month-end close and reconcile AP-related GL accounts.
• Process employee expense reports and corporate card transactions.
• Serve as the procurement tool administrator and support user workflows.
• Ensure compliance with policies and internal controls.
• Assist with audit requests and AP documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency.
