Job summary

RethinkFirst, a leading behavioral health technology company, seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the accounting and finance team. You will manage full-cycle AP, code invoices in Sage Intacct, match to POs, and ensure timely approvals.

The role requires 3–5 years of AP experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with Sage Intacct. Remote-first work with nationwide reach is offered; Arizona-based applicants are welcome.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle AP experience; bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and general accounting practices.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions).
• Experience with an ERP system such as Sage Intacct preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication (verbal and written), organizational skills, and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle AP function, including monitoring the AP inbox and entering invoices in Sage Intacct with accurate GL coding.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation while ensuring proper approvals are obtained.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Communicate with employees, vendors, and internal departments about AP-related questions.
• Reconcile AP-related general ledger accounts and assist with month-end close activities.
• Review and process employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions.
• Serve as the point person for our procurement tool, including user support and approval workflow maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Assist with audit requests and provide AP documentation as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and increase efficiency.
