Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking an experienced accounts payable specialist to help manage high volumes of invoices and vendor inquiries in a hybrid work setting in the United States. The role supports month-end close, audit documentation, and internal controls while optimizing processes for accuracy and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in AP, strong Excel skills, ERP experience, and a focus on compliance and timely payments.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, accounting operations, bookkeeping, or related finance function.
• 3 years of experience working with ERP systems, accounting software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced proficiency in Excel.
• 3 years of experience managing high volumes of invoices, vendor inquiries, payment requests, and disbursements while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• 3 years of experience supporting month-end close activities, financial reporting, audit documentation, and related accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• You’ll support the Accounts Payable function and contribute to the timely and accurate execution of the monthly financial close process.
• You’ll manage and maintain vendor master data within the ERP environment, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and aligned with established policies and controls.
• You’ll process vendor disbursements in accordance with approval requirements, internal policies, payment terms, and established financial controls.
• You’ll manage the timely issuance of vendor payments and support the accurate and compliant administration of annual 1099 forms in accordance with IRS regulations.
• You’ll prepare, maintain, and produce documentation and supporting schedules required for internal and external audits.
