Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is seeking an AP Processor to join the Accounts Payable team in Financial Operations in Hingham. You will enter vendor invoices into Oracle, review and approve for payment, and ensure timely, accurate processing to maintain strong vendor relationships.

You will retrieve checks, attach supporting documents, and coordinate with various business areas to resolve invoicing issues and prevent delays.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years working experience with Oracle Financials – AP preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor and in a team.
• Flexible to meet deadlines.
• Preferred: Oracle AP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Data entry of vendor invoices into Oracle Accounts Payable.
• Process approved invoices for payment after reviewing math, sales tax, approvals, and PO matching.
• Retrieve checks, attach back-up documentation, and prepare for mailing.
• Collaborate with various business areas on invoicing issues to prevent payment delays.
• Serve as a backup for AP functions to ensure operational continuity.
