The position is primarily onsite in Terre Haute, IN, with potential remote work one day per week after training, and offers a competitive hourly rate of $19.00–$24.00.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable processes and tasks.
• Ability to process invoices and manage invoicing workflows.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles and controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process and route high-volume vendor invoices through the invoice system.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments.
• Retrieve invoices from vendor portals and maintain documentation.
• Review invoices for accuracy and completeness prior to processing.
• Assist with accounts payable recordkeeping and reporting.
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding invoice inquiries.
• Support accounting with administrative and financial tasks as needed.
