Job summary

Spot Freight, Inc. is seeking an A/P Clerk to ensure accurate and timely processing of carrier invoices, enabling on-time payments to carriers and billing to customers. You will audit, classify, and respond to payment inquiries while handling multiple calls weekly.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in A/P or billing, preferably with logistics experience, and an associate degree in business or accounting/finance. A collaborative, fast-paced environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of A/P or billing experience; experience in a logistics or third-party organization is a bonus.
• High school degree or GED.
• Associate’s degree in business or accounting/finance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit and process carrier invoices for payment.
• Classify and validate documents in our document processing software.
• Point of contact for assigned accounts.
• Respond to payment questions in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Must be able to handle 20 to 30 phone calls, two or three times a week.
