Job summary

BACKHAUL & TRACK LOGISTICS is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Council Bluffs, IA. The role handles all carrier payments and supports Accounts Receivable and Compliance as needed, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include entering billing records, resolving issues, issuing invoices, and ensuring timely payments. Requires strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and proficiency in QuickBooks; two years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accurate billing records.
• Research and resolve accounting issues.
• Issue invoices to customers and process/payments.
• Verify and issue payments to carriers and vendors.
• Process credit memos.
• Audit Comdata checks for fuel and lumper advances.
• Track supply inventory and order as necessary.
• Multi-task across duties; adapt as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
