Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team in an in-office role in Springfield, MO. You will manage payables, process invoices, and ensure timely payments, maintaining accurate financial records.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and proficient with MS Office; experience with SAGE Accounting is a plus. This role requires independent work and collaboration with a team in a multi-location environment.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of MS Office software required.
• Experience with SAGE Accounting software preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Coding of items such as invoices and credit card charges; proper entry into the financial system.
• Handles all vendor correspondence via phone or email.
• Investigates and resolves problems related to invoices and purchase orders.
• Reconciles bank statements and tracks year-end 1099s/W-9.
• Assists with monthly closings and status reports; maintains accounting records.
