HRW Companies, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team in Missouri. You will process vendor invoices, verify charges, and ensure timely payments while maintaining accurate financial records.

Ideal candidates have experience with accounting software (QuickBooks a plus) and strong Excel skills. We value confidentiality, organization, and a proactive approach to month-end close tasks within our healthcare facility network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree in accounting or business preferred.
• Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks experience is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Verify invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain organized accounts payable records and electronic files.
• Communicate professionally with vendors and facility staff regarding invoice questions and payment status.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
