Job summary

Motion Industries, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist I to provide payables and general accounting support.

This role is based in Fort Wayne, IN, and involves reviewing vendor invoices, processing payments across ERP systems, and maintaining vendor master records. You will ensure accurate banking information, assist external customers with electronic invoicing, and help resolve vendor discrepancies while delivering dependable service to internal departments.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and zero (0) to three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Provide payables process support and assist Finance team and branches.
• Review and verify vendor invoices and payment requests for accuracy.
• Process vouchers for payment using multiple accounting systems.
• Validate new vendor set-ups and maintain vendor master records.
• Verify vendor banking information for ACH/wire setup and monitor payments.
• Assist external customers with electronic invoice submission and electronic payments.
• Resolve vendor discrepancies and communicate with relevant departments.
