Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract role in Everett, WA. You will own the full AP lifecycle, process invoices, and collaborate with Supply Chain and Receiving to resolve discrepancies.

The role requires 3+ years of AP experience in a high-growth tech environment, hands-on with Tipalti or Ramp, and handling 200+ invoices weekly with strong attention to detail. Onsite work Monday–Friday 8–5, with onboarding in Everett.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience in a high-growth, technology-driven environment.
• Hands-on experience with Tipalti and/or Ramp.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume invoice processing (200+ invoices weekly).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Process-improvement mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the full Accounts Payable lifecycle, processing invoices on time and accurately.
• Process invoices accurately and efficiently, handling 200+ invoices per week.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Receiving teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Investigate payment delays and errors, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Build and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Drive process improvements and recommend system enhancements.
• Manage corporate credit card administration, including setup and monitoring.
• Support travel and expense policy compliance and reimbursement processing.
• Prepare journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations related to accounts payable.
• Assist with external audits and financial reporting activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including annual 1099 filings.
