Job summary

UHY LLP is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments and AP transactions in a shared service environment. The role requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with AP and GL systems, and collaboration with finance teams and vendors.

You will review invoices, enter data into ERP, allocate costs, and assist with month-end closing. Experience with ERP software and vendor communications is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of accounts payable experience or related accounting/finance role preferred.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor invoices for completeness and proper authorization.
• Input invoice data into ERP system accurately.
• Allocate costs to appropriate cost centers and ledger accounts.
• Prepare payments and initiate weekly pay runs.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
