Steadfast Alliance is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage timely, accurate AP processing and vendor relationships. The role requires attention to detail, proficiency with accounting software, and the ability to work well with multiple departments.

The position is full-time with standard corporate benefits. Candidates should have a minimum of two years in accounts payable and a solid foundation in finance and accounting principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in accounts payable or similar role.
• Proficiency with accounting software like QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and review invoices/bills/receipts for accuracy and completeness.
• Match invoices to purchase orders, job orders, and receiving documents.
• Enter and code invoices into the accounting system.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
• Maintain vendor files and records.
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
