RPM Freight Systems is seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist – Carrier Operations to manage day-to-day payment and billing communications with transportation carriers. You will process carrier payments, review BOLs for accuracy, and maintain documentation while escalating complex issues to resolve discrepancies.

The role requires 1–3 years of AP or logistics accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel and ERP/TMS systems.

Competenze

• 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or transportation accounting or logistics operations.
• Experience with transportation carriers, freight invoices, BOLs, or freight auditing processes.
• Strong focus on accuracy and resolving payment or billing discrepancies.
• Proficiency with Excel, including basic formulas and reconciliation tasks.
• Experience with TMS/ERP/accounting software.

Mansioni

• Answer inbound carrier inquiries about payment status and invoices.
• Process carrier payments accurately per terms and schedules.
• Review carrier accounts for discrepancies and outstanding balances.
• Verify and process Bills of Lading to match invoices.
• Investigate escalated carrier issues with internal teams.
• Reconcile carrier statements with internal records.
• Maintain organized documentation of communications and payments.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with AP policies and carrier agreements.
