Job summary

The Brickle Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join our finance team in Woonsocket, RI. The role covers the full AP process for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timely payments in a manufacturing environment.

Typical duties include invoicing, PO matching, weekly check runs, EFT/wire payments, vendor inquiries and month-end closings. A detail-oriented, Excel-savvy candidate with confidentiality discipline is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable as part of an accounting team.
• Detail-oriented with strong mathematical abilities to identify unusual transactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and prioritize A/P workload.
• Self-directed, collaborative, and professional.
• Experience with manufacturing processes or ERP systems preferred.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices – verify accuracy, match with purchase order & receipt.
• Process weekly A/P check runs and coordinate payments via EFT or wire transfer.
• Upload payment details to Bank of America for EFT’s, wires and Positive Pay.
• Research vendor discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Assign proper G/L accounts to invoices.
• Obtain proper approval and post invoices into A/P system.
• Maintain A/P files, including attaching required documentation to invoices.
• Complete credit reference information for new suppliers.
• Maintain A/P payment terms in system and verify due dates.
• Coordinate the month-end closing process for A/P.
• Update/standardize documentation for all A/P processes.
