Qualifications

• Experience with invoice coding, check processing, reconciliations, vendor documentation, and payment processing.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines, resolve discrepancies independently, and communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams.

• Process approximately 200 invoices per week while ensuring accurate coding, approvals, and documentation.

• Maintain organized accounting files, vendor documentation, W-9 forms, and support records.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be working closely with management, vendors, and internal teams to ensure payments are processed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, code, and enter approved invoices and credit card transactions into QuickBooks.
• Process approximately 200 invoices per week while ensuring accurate coding, approvals, and documentation.
• Match invoices to checks, prepare check requests, process online payments, and prioritize invoices based on payment terms.
• Communicate with vendors, respond to inquiries, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized accounting files, vendor documentation, W-9 forms, and support records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, reporting needs, and additional accounting projects.

Pay & Employment Details

• Pay: $22 to $25 per hour.
• Employment type: Temp-to-Hire.
• Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Location: Signal Hill, CA. 100% Onsite.
