Jobot in Peachtree Corners, GA is seeking a detail-oriented Temp-to-Hire Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. You will process invoices, perform 2-way/3-way matching, handle payments, and support month-end close in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience.
• Experience with high-volume invoice processing.
• Strong understanding of purchase orders and 3-way matching.
• Experience reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-based business is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process, code, and enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Perform 2-way and 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation.
• Review invoices for proper approvals, coding, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and process vendor payments, including ACH and checks.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and assist with new vendor setup.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve invoice and payment issues.
• Monitor AP aging and ensure invoices are paid according to established terms.
• Support month-end close, including reconciliations and accruals.
• Partner with purchasing, operations, and accounting teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized AP documentation for audit and internal control purposes.
• Assist with process improvements and additional accounting projects as needed.

What You’ll Do
