Job summary

CFS in Indianapolis is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to process and manage AP transactions, collaborate with leadership, and contribute to month-end close. This role offers exposure to property management and real estate, with opportunities for advancement in a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience, or strong internship experience for recent graduates.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency with Excel.
• Property management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions
• Review, verify, and reconcile invoices and expense reports
• Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation for audits and reporting
• Partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve payment discrepancies
• Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations
• Identify process improvements and support special projects
