Qualifications

• High-volume AP experience with attention to detail.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution or inventory-led environments is highly advantageous.
• Strong PO/three-way matching experience required.
• Confident working within ERP systems and able to navigate complex processes.
• Epicor Kinetic experience is a major plus but not essential.
• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume invoices accurately and promptly.
• Handle PO and inventory-related AP tasks.
• Manage GRNI (goods received not invoiced) entries.
• Investigate short shipments and pricing discrepancies.
• Identify duplicate, incorrect, or already-paid invoices and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Finance and operations to resolve problems.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST | HOUSTON, TX

Temp-to-Perm | 40 hours per week

CRG are supporting a manufacturing business in Houston with an urgent Accounts Payable Specialist hire.

This is a busy, hands-on AP position processing approximately 800-1,000 invoices per month, so we need someone who is comfortable operating at volume while maintaining an extremely high level of accuracy.

What you'll be doing:

• High-volume invoice processing with immaculate attention to detail
• PO and inventory-related AP
• GRNI / goods received not invoiced
• Investigating short shipments and pricing discrepancies
• Identifying duplicate, incorrect or already-paid invoices
• Working closely with the wider Finance and operational teams to resolve issues

What we're looking for:

• Strong hands-on Accounts Payable experience
• Experience within manufacturing, distribution or an inventory-led environment highly advantageous
• Strong PO / three-way matching experience
• Confident working within ERP systems
• Epicor Kinetic experience would be a major plus, but isn't essential
• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
• Above all exceptional attention to detail

This team doesn't need somebody who simply processes invoices.

They need someone who will spot when something doesn't look right, investigate it and get it resolved.

The position is fully on-site, although there is some flexibility around working hours to accommodate Houston traffic.
