Job summary

J.B.A. Automotive is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dealership team. You will reconcile invoices, issue payments to vendors, and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring timely disbursements and accurate records.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in accounts payable, with automotive dealership experience preferred and familiarity with Reynolds & Reynolds software. Typical office hours apply, and benefits are available after probation.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile statements and invoices, and issue payments to vendors.
• Process checks disbursements for accounts payable.
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records.
• Ensure accounts payable transactions are accurately reconciled.
• Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Research and resolve discrepancies and issues.
• Create and maintain vendor files.
• Correspond with vendors and respond to their inquiries.
• Assist with month-end closing tasks.
• Provide coverage for the receptionist desk as needed.
• Offer general office support as required.
• Undertake special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities include reconciling invoices and statements, overseeing prompt payments to vendors, and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers. This position is vital to the smooth functioning of our dealership, contributing to our overall financial health and operational success.

The annual pay ranges from $41,600 to $62,400.

Pay is commensurate with experience. Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision,HSA, 401K) are available after the probationary period.
