Job summary

Courtesy Automotive Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dealership accounting team. This role handles vendor invoices, reconciles statements, and ensures timely payment of expenses.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years of AP experience, strong detail orientation, and familiarity with dealership software such as CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds. Automotive background preferred. We offer a competitive package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Automotive dealership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Obtain proper approvals for invoice payments.
• Prepare checks, ACH payments, and weekly payment runs.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor payment inquiries.
• Maintain accurate AP records and files.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely payment.
• Assist with month-end closing and AP reconciliations.
• Communicate with department managers regarding invoice approvals and issues.
• Follow company accounting policies and internal controls.
• Perform other AP-related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Courtesy Automotive Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dealership accounting team. Automotive dealership experience is preferred.
