The Pivot Group Network in Mount Pleasant, MI is seeking an Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist to support manufacturing clients in the region. The role handles AP/AR processes, vendor relations, and ERP-based workflows, with emphasis on accuracy, timeliness, and collaboration with internal teams.

Salary range reflects experience and market demand; candidates with relevant manufacturing exposure and ERP skills will be favored. This is a full-time, on-site role in the Mount Pleasant area.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or business preferred.
Two or more years of accounts payable or accounts receivable experience, ideally in manufacturing.
Working knowledge of three-way matching and standard AP and AR cycles.
Proficiency with ERP or accounting software and intermediate Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with high volume transaction processing.
Clear written and verbal communication for vendor and internal follow up.

Responsibilities

Reconcile vendor statements and monthly AP and AR ledger accounts.
Maintain vendor and customer master files and supporting documentation.
Process vendor invoices and match them to PO and receiving records.
Enter invoices and payment data into the accounting system.
Prepare and run weekly check and electronic payment runs.
Apply customer payments to open invoices and reconcile cash receipts.
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.
Prepare accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on past due balances.

Associate or bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or business.
