Responsibilities

Maintain vendor and customer master/files and documentation.
Process vendor invoices, match to PO and receiving records.
Enter invoices and payment data into the accounting system.
Prepare and run weekly check and electronic payment runs.
Apply customer payments to open invoices and reconcile cash receipts.
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors/internal teams.
Prepare AR aging reports and follow up on past-due balances.
Reconcile vendor statements and AP/AR ledger accounts.

Salary Range: $48,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

Usual Responsibilities

Maintain vendor and customer master files and supporting documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency with ERP or accounting software and intermediate Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with high volume transaction processing.
Clear written and verbal communication for vendor and internal follow up.
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or business preferred.
Two or more years of accounts payable or accounts receivable experience, ideally in manufacturing.
Working knowledge of three-way matching and standard AP and AR cycles.

Bonus Qualifications

Associate or bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or business.
Prior experience in a plant or production environment.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Epicor.
Exposure to cost accounting or inventory related transactions.
Familiarity with sales and use tax and 1099 reporting.
