Humanscale seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead the AP team in our New Jersey operations. You will oversee vendor payments, ensure accurate coding, and drive process improvements across daily accounting activities.

This role emphasizes internal controls, timely reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. A bachelor’s degree in accounting and 4–6 years of accounting experience, plus 2 years of supervisory experience, are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Management of the AP team - delegate AP workload and review work.
• Manage vendor payments via ACH, wire, and checks.
• Daily review of AP voucher distributions for correct coding.
• Review monthly vendor reconciliations.
• Enforce proper accounting policies and procedures; suggest improvements.
• Approve weekly employee expenses via Emburse.
• Monitor internal controls and produce key metrics.
• Prepare year-end 1099 forms; assist audits as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve AP issues.
