Job summary

Towne Towne is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead a three-person AP team and ensure accurate, timely processing of vendor invoices. The role emphasizes strong internal controls, month-end close support, and collaboration with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 4+ years of related experience and/or training; 5 years supervisory experience with payables.
• Knowledge of accounting and GL relationship to invoices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to post journals weekly.

Responsibilities

• Lead AP team of three coordinators, assign work, and provide training.
• Oversee vendor communications, resolve payment inquiries, and statements.
• Manage day-to-day AP operations including month-end, 1099, and payments.
• Support automation and AI DocLogic to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Strengthen internal controls and update policies and procedures.
• Assist client accounting during month-end close and acquisitions integration.
• Provide audit support and ensure compliance; collaborate cross-functionally.
