Job summary

A leading distributor in California is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead a team of 7 AP professionals. Your responsibilities will include reconciling vendor statements, overseeing month-end activities, and implementing policies to reduce Days Payable Outstanding (DPO). The ideal candidate has experience managing AP teams and is ready to contribute to our employee-oriented culture. This position offers a competitive salary in the range of $100,000 to $110,000.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling vendor statements and preparing and reviewing AP aging reports.
• Overseeing month-end close activities for the accounts payable ledger.
• Assigning and overseeing the work of 7 AP specialists.
• Filing annual 1099s.
• Implementing policies that reduce DPO.
