Job summary

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor in Adelanto, CA. You will oversee day-to-day AP activities, ensure accurate invoice processing, manage vendor relations, and support month-end close deadlines.

You will lead a small team, enforce internal controls, and drive process improvements across the AP function. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with stability and opportunities to impact financial operations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing accounts payable processes and month-end close.
• Strong understanding of AP impact on General Ledger.
• Proficient data entry and vendor management skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a small team.

Responsibilities

• Post and process invoices daily
• Resolve coding discrepancies and payment issues
• Prepare manual checks and maintain payment records
• Support Terminal Managers and department leaders
• Maintain approved vendor files and records
• Track and report AP statistics for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
• Prepare daily aging schedules for management reporting
• Maintain AP working papers for audits
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Process weekly check runs every Thursday
• Run weekly and monthly reports
• Close the monthly Fuel Program and generate fuel reports
• Close the AP module within established deadlines
• Prepare month-end AP aging reports for banks, auditors, and leadership
• Assist with special projects and financial initiatives for the Controller
