Job summary

OneLegacy in California seeks a capable Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead the AP team, ensure accurate payments, and uphold compliance with policies and regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, five years in AP with two years in a supervisory capacity, and a CA driver’s license with valid insurance. This is a full-time, in-person position offering a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of five years in an Accounts Payable position, including two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Certification/License: California driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Supervises activities of the Accounts Payable (A/P) team. Responsible for performance management, hiring, training, and development of all A/P team members.
• Monitor productivity of AP team members.
• Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external customers while offering unsurpassed customer service.
• Reviews accounts payable documents prepared by A/P team members for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to OneLegacy policies and procedures; authorizes for payment.
• Creates and implements changes to work assignments, methods, or procedures to meet operational needs and improve accuracy and efficiency of the accounts payable system.
• Preparation and filing of 1099s.
• Ensures compliance with all federal and state regulations governing payments to vendors.
