Job summary

HBD Industries, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Dublin, OH team. The role focuses on accurate processing of vendor invoices, 3-way PO matching, and maintaining strong supplier relationships in a manufacturing environment.

You will work with OCR and AP automation to improve efficiency, assist with month-end close, and mentor junior staff as needed. Strong accounting background and attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable in manufacturing with PO usage.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with OCR/AP automation tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process a high volume of vendor invoices for multiple facilities with 3-way PO matching.
• Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies with purchasing and receiving.
• Assist in month-end close activities related to AP including accruals.
• Train or lead AP team members on process improvements.
• Maintain vendor records and ensure timely disbursement of payments.
• Utilize OCR and invoice automation tools to streamline processing.
• Support external audits by providing AP documentation as needed.
• Identify opportunities for AP process improvements.
