HBD Industries is a dynamic manufacturing company seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support daily payables operations, ensuring accurate processing of vendor invoices for multiple facilities. The role emphasizes 3-way PO matching, reconciliation of discrepancies, and collaboration with purchasing and receiving.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in AP within manufacturing, leadership experience, and familiarity with OCR/AP automation and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable in manufacturing with PO-based systems.
• Leadership experience training or supervising AP staff or leading projects.
• Experience with OCR/AP automation tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP.
• High attention to detail and strong organization.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices with 3-way PO matching.
• Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies with purchasing and receiving.
• Assist in month-end close activities related to AP including accruals and reporting.
• Train AP team members or lead projects/day-to-day activities as applicable.
• Maintain vendor records and ensure timely disbursement of payments.
• Utilize OCR and invoice automation tools to streamline processing.
• Assist with external audits by preparing AP documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and AP best practices.
