Job summary

KBX Logistics in Green Bay is seeking a temporary Accounts Payable/Freight Auditor Specialist. The role runs Monday–Friday, 7AM–3:30PM with hourly pay starting at $22 through Encadria Staffing Solutions.

You will audit freight invoices, resolve rate and fuel issues, process carrier bills for fleets and rentals, and manage Auto-Pay Carriers to ensure timely resolution and accurate billing.

Qualifications

• Administrative and customer service experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with accounts payable processes and vendor billing.
• Familiarity with LTL and truckload shipping and related terms.

Responsibilities

• Audit blocked freight invoices for all modes
• Resolve rate, fuel, stop, and additional charge issues
• Process and log carrier statements for fleets and rentals
• Manage Auto-Pay Carriers including onboarding and resolution
• Review carrier statements and outstanding balances
• Ensure invoicing aligns with KBX contracts and pricing
• Monitor open loads to reduce month-end accruals
• Prepare month-end manual accruals when needed
• Maintain clear carrier communication to minimize exceptions

What You Will Do in Your Role

• Audit blocked freight invoices for all modes
• Resolving rate, fuel, stop, and additional charge issues, etc.
• Process and log carrier statement bills for dedicated fleets and trailer rentals
• Manage Auto-Pay Carriers; including onboarding, training, and timely problem resolution for these carriers
• Manage carrier statements – review and resolve open invoices and outstanding balance dues
• Ensure carrier invoicing is compliant with KBX Logistics contracts and pricing policies
• Monitor open loads to reduce the manual accrual for month-end
• Prepare month-end manual accruals as needed
• Promote and maintain continuous, positive communication with carriers regarding correct billing procedures to minimize freight exceptions

The Experience You Will Bring

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role with the ability to multitask in fast‑paced environment
• Associate degree or higher in accounting, mathematics, or similar degree area
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or similar role
• Experience in a Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations related role
• Previous experience working with and an understanding of the less‑than‑truckload (LTL) and/or full truckload modes of transportation and/or rail experience.
