Job summary

The Suddath Companies seeks an Accounts Payable professional to coordinate daily payment processing for Domestic Accounts Payable invoices. You will work with Claims, Billing and Vendor Relations teams to resolve issues and ensure timely payments.

Ideal candidates have solid AP experience, excellent communication, and strong attention to detail. The role requires the ability to prioritize, work under deadlines and contribute to AP process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3–5 years related experience and/or training
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting preferred
• Prior accounts payable experience encouraged

Responsibilities

• Assist daily/weekly vendor payment activities with Claims, Billing and Vendor Relations teams
• Ensure payments are processed timely and aligned with AP metrics
• Research and resolve vendor payment issues and aging payables
• Train staff on routine AP tasks such as labeling and check runs
• Review vendor information for remittance accuracy
• Collaborate with Claims team to ensure offsets meet performance metrics
• Prepare ad-hoc management reports for decision making
• Lead or participate in projects to improve AP efficiency
