Job summary

Suddath is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to manage daily AP activities, ensure accurate and timely processing, and support the AP team. The role involves approving payments, inquiries handling, and collaborating with internal departments to optimize cash flow.

The ideal candidate will have a BA or related experience, prior supervisory experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Great Plains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or 2-3 years related experience in accounts payable/treasury.
• Two to three years’ managerial experience.
• Experience using Great Plains preferred.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Accounts Payable Coordinators and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Review daily banking reports and approve payable transactions (checks, ACHs, wires).
• Coordinate with internal teams to reissue returned or rejected banking transactions.
• Manage 1099 reporting and perform monthly audits of payables.
