Jobot Consulting is seeking a dynamic Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting and Finance team onsite in California. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy with data entry, and the ability to handle high volumes while using Spanish when communicating with vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years accounts payable experience or similar.
• Strong data entry and 10-key typing skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, especially payables.
• Excellent math skills and numerical accuracy.
• Spanish proficiency preferred but not required.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and teachable attitude.
• Experience with accounting software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Process and record AP transactions accurately.
• Manage full AP cycle: matching, batching, coding invoices.
• Handle data entry and maintain financial records.
• Answer AP-related calls and vendor inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and policies.
• Assist in preparing financial reports.
• Reconcile AP transactions and vendor statements.
• Maintain vendor relationships.
• Participate in team meetings and process improvements.
• Use Spanish to communicate with Spanish-speaking clients/vendors.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Consulting Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting and Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting with a focus on accounts payable and will be comfortable dealing with large volumes of data and financial information. Responsibilities

As a Consulting Accounts Payable Clerk, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Processing and recording transactions efficiently and accurately.
2. Managing the complete cycle of accounts payable, including matching, batching, and coding invoices.
3. Handling data entry tasks and maintaining financial records.
4. Answering incoming calls and addressing queries related to accounts payable.
5. Ensuring compliance with standard procedures and policies.
6. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
7. Reconciling accounts payable transactions.
8. Maintaining vendor relationships.
9. Participating in team meetings and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
10. Using your Spanish language skills to communicate with Spanish-speaking clients or vendors.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you need to have the following qualifications:
