Job summary

HEALSEE CAPSULES INCORPORATED in Bessemer City, NC is seeking an Accounts Payable/Accounting Support professional. Responsibilities include reviewing vendor invoices, performing 2-way/3-way matching, coding transactions, and preparing payment batches. The role supports month-end close in a growing manufacturing environment.

Requirements include 1+ year in AP or related admin work, proficiency with Excel/Outlook, and strong numerical accuracy. Competitive pay with benefits will be offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of accounts payable or related administrative experience.
• Familiar with invoice processing, POs, receiving docs, GL coding, payment terms.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and standard office applications, with ability to learn Healsee's systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, and review vendor invoices, credit memos, and supporting documentation through approved channels.
• Verify invoice accuracy, calculations, payment terms, tax treatment, approvals, and required documentation.
• Perform two-way or three-way matching among POs, receiving records, invoices, contracts, and approvals as applicable.
• Assign or confirm GL accounts, cost centers, departments, projects, and other coding before entering transactions in the ERP system.
• Prepare authorized check, ACH, wire, and other payment batches according to schedules, due dates, and cash-management direction.
• Process approved employee expense reports, corporate card transactions, reimbursements, recurring invoices, and non-PO invoices.
• Maintain accurate payment and remittance records, meet processing deadlines, resolve discrepancies, and support reconciliations and month-end close.

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Schedule:Monday - Friday

What You’ll Do

• Receive, organize, and review vendor invoices, credit memos, and supporting documentation through approved channels.
• Verify invoice accuracy, calculations, payment terms, sales or use tax treatment, approvals, and required documentation.
• Perform two-way or three-way matching among purchase orders, receiving records, invoices, contracts, and authorized approvals, as applicable.
• Assign or confirm general ledger accounts, cost centers, departments, projects, and other coding before entering transactions in the approved accounting or ERP system.
• Prepare authorized check, ACH, wire, and other payment batches according to payment schedules, due dates, available discounts, and cash-management direction.
• Process approved employee expense reports, corporate card transactions, reimbursements, recurring invoices, and non-purchase-order invoices.
• Maintain accurate payment and remittance records, meet processing deadlines, communicate issues early, resolve discrepancies, and support reconciliations and month-end close.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of accounts payable, bookkeeping, accounting support, or closely related administrative experience.
• Working knowledge of invoice processing, purchase orders, receiving documentation, general ledger coding, payment terms, and basic reconciliations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and standard office applications, plus the ability to learn Healsee's accounting and enterprise systems.
• Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage a high volume of transactions and deadlines accurately.
• Professional communication skills, discretion with confidential financial information, dependable judgment, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an evolving startup environment.
