Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join the LVA Finance team. In this pivotal role, you will manage payment and disbursement functions for designated entities, ensuring accurate and timely processing in accordance with Louis Vuitton's established guidelines and policies. Job responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- As an AP Associate, you will support the vendor and customer onboarding processes. Additionally, your responsibilities will include reconciling general ledger (GL) accounts for specific entities as directed, and assisting with month-end close processes. Your role will be integral in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of these financial operations.
Agility
- Process and record all accounts payable transactions with proper account coding, authorization and payment terms.
- Reviewing, approving and ensuring correct purchasing channels are being used.
- Travel Expenses
- Prepare CONCUR Monthly Accruals.
- Process all new Vendor Onboarding / Modifications request.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide Audit Documentation as requested.
Client Centric & Excellence
- Ensure processes that prevent losses from fraud or bad debt.
- Ensure T&E accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Execute store creations in SAP and ensure accuracy.
- Ensure accurate vendor set up by verifying information is complete and confirming vendor creation with proper channels.
- Prepare HR Staff Award/Incentives report and submit to HR for fringe benefit reporting.
- Respond to vendor/employee invoice inquiries.
- Assist in month end closing and audits to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Self & Team Development
- Ad-hoc projects and systems improvement.
- Act as a business partner with stores and corporate partners.
- Performs other duties as requested by management
Profile
We are seeking a detail-oriented and deadline-conscious individual with 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) are essential, as are excellent organizational and time management abilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commercial mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Experience in the retail industry or a multinational company is preferred. Familiarity with SAP and Concur is a plus.
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within an hourly range of $30.00- $31.00, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.

The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.
