Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to support a high-volume Shared Services AP function. The role emphasizes generating AP reports, identifying trends, and driving process improvements.

This position offers remote work nationwide with optional office presence in Newport News, VA, and requires strong analytical and collaborative skills. You will resolve invoice discrepancies, support SOX controls, and partner with procurement and operations to ensure timely payments

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; 4–6+ years in Accounts Payable in a high-volume Shared Services environment.
Experience with Power BI and reporting tools preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

Generate, maintain, and analyze recurring and ad hoc AP reports to support performance and objectives.
Monitor KPIs: invoice volumes, cycle times, aging, payments trends.
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier inquiries.
Collaborate with procurement, operations, and approvers to remove processing barriers.
Prepare reporting packages, presentations, and executive summaries for leadership.
Ensure SOX compliance and internal controls in AP processes.
