Job summary

Limbs & Things Inc. is seeking an Accounts Assistant to provide administrative support to the Finance Department. You will work with the Management Accountant and Senior Accounts Assistant to ensure timely and accurate processing of daily transactions, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

The role involves multi-currency AP/AR processing, reconciliations, cash runs, and compliance tasks in an office setting with growth opportunities within a unique medical training equipment company.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in a similar role.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Epicor ERP.
• Experience in an Office or Finance Department.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-currency A/P invoices and match to delivery and PO.
• Review supplier statements and identify liabilities.
• Manage daily AR process and ensure timely payments.
• Decide when accounts should go on credit hold.
• Process staff expenses and reconcile company cards.
• Collate weekly cash payment runs for final approval.
• Prepare daily bank reconciliations.
• Complete filing and record keeping, including archiving.
• Process monthly Sales Tax returns via Avalara.
• Support Operations Manager on month-end processes.
• Provide cover for the finance team as required.
