Job summary

EliseAI is seeking a Deployment Strategist on the Future Platforms team to found and scale a critical function: delivering our accounting platform from initial deployment through full operational adoption.

You will own the accounting layer of complex deployments, collaborating with Controllers, CFOs, and accounting teams to scope workflows, configure systems, and ensure a clean transition into live operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, product management, and/or founder/operator roles at high-growth startups.
• Background in accounting or finance (e.g., former Controller, Senior Accountant, accounting consultant, or accounting-focused operator).
• Experience managing complex, client-facing implementations or projects.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (GL, reconciliations, close process, workflows).
• Comfortable getting into the weeds with data, configurations, and systems.
• Excellent communicator who can build trust with senior finance stakeholders.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple concurrent deployments under tight timelines.
• Willingness to work in person at our office 4–5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting deployment success end-to-end across multiple concurrent deployments.
• Drive the accounting portion of deployments from late-stage sales handoff through post-launch stabilization.
• Roll off accounts once they are fully live and operating on the platform.
• Ensure accuracy and readiness across all accounting workflows.
• Lead discovery, scoping, and decision making with Controllers, CFOs, and Finance teams.
• Configure chart of accounts, vendor/entity setup, and mapping of transactions and workflows.
• Drive data migration readiness and post-launch success, including reconciliations.
• Lead trainings and demos to ensure adoption by accounting teams.
