EliseAI is seeking an Engagement Lead for the Future Platforms team in New York to own and scale the accounting platform from deployment to live operations. You will partner with Controllers, CFOs, and accounting teams to scope workflows, configure systems, drive decisions, and ensure a clean transition into production.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, product management, and/or founder/operator roles at high-growth startups
• Background in accounting or finance in a tech-enabled environment
• Experience managing complex client-facing implementations or projects
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (GL, reconciliations, close process)
• Excellent communicator with senior finance stakeholders
• Highly organized with multiple engagements under tight timelines
• Willingness to work in person at our office 4-5 days a week

Responsibilities

• Own accounting engagement success end-to-end across multiple concurrent engagements
• Lead discovery, scoping, and decisioning with Controllers, CFOs, and Finance teams
• Configure and implement accounting workflows, COA mapping, and vendor/entity setup
• Drive data migration readiness and post-launch reconciliations and close processes
• Provide adoption training and run tailored demos for accounting teams
• Build scalable playbooks and collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve workflows
• Move fast with autonomy, defining how implementations are done at scale
