Job summary

EliseAI is seeking a Deployment Strategist to build and scale our accounting platform across multiple client deployments. You’ll work directly with Controllers, CFOs, and accounting teams to scope workflows, configure systems, and drive decisions from onboarding to live operation.

The role blends accounting, product, and customer success in a fast-scaling startup. You’ll own end-to-end deployment, guide discovery and design, and lead hands-on configuration, migrations, and post-launch

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, product management, and/or founder/operator roles at high-growth startups
• Background in accounting or finance (e.g., former Controller, Senior Accountant, accounting consultant, or accounting-focused operator)
• Excellent communicator who can build trust with senior finance stakeholders
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple concurrent deployments under tight timelines
• Autonomous, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in ambiguity
• Willingness to work in person at our office 4-5 days a week

Responsibilities

• Own accounting deployment success end-to-end across multiple concurrent deployments
• Lead accounting discovery, scoping, and decisioning with stakeholders
• Own configuration and implementation including COA setup, vendor/entity setup, and mapping of transactions
• Manage data inputs, validate materials, and ensure data integrity
• Drive data migration readiness and post-launch stabilization
• Enable adoption through trainings and demos for accounting teams
• Build scalable processes, templates, and playbooks with Product and Engineering
• Move quickly and operate with autonomy in a fast-scaling environment
