EliseAI is seeking an Engagement Lead on the Future Platforms team to scale our accounting platform from initial deployment through full adoption. You will work directly with Controllers, CFOs, and accounting teams to scope workflows, configure systems, and ensure a clean transition into live operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, product management, and/or founder/operator roles at high-growth startups.
• Background in accounting or finance (e.g., former Controller, Senior Accountant, accounting consultant, or accounting-focused operator).
• Experience managing complex, client-facing implementations or projects.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (GL, reconciliations, close process, workflows).
• Excellent communicator who can build trust with senior finance stakeholders.
• Autonomous, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting engagement success end-to-end across multiple concurrent engagements.
• Lead discovery, scoping, and decisioning with Controllers, CFOs, and Finance teams.
• Configure systems and requirements; map COA, vendors, entities, and transactions.
