Job summary

Vitamin Well Group is seeking an analytical Accounting Manager to lead US and Canadian entities and support our expanding US operations. You will coach two staff accountants and an AP specialist while overseeing GL, month-end close, and AP processes.

The role requires a strong US GAAP background, deep Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems. This on-site position is based in Marina del Rey, CA with a base salary in a competitive range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience in GL, close, reconciliations and AP.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience; process improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee US and Canadian GL activities, journal entries, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead month-end close, ensure timeliness and accuracy, respond to audit requests.
• Manage accounts payable cycle, coding, approvals and vendor reconciliations.
• Drive internal controls, standardization and automation across GL and AP.
• Lead and develop two Staff Accountants and one AP Specialist, set priorities and provide feedback.
