Vitamin Well Group, a global consumer brand company, is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead US and Canadian accounting operations and to support its growing Mexico business. You will manage two staff accountants and one AP specialist, oversee general ledger, month-end close and internal controls, and drive process improvements across multi-entity operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including general ledger, month-end close and accounts payable.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, accounting principles and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage competing deadlines, especially during month-end close.
• Excellent communication skills and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger activities across US and Canadian entities, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review accounting entries, investigate variances and resolve reconciling items.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end close activities.
• Support the Director of Accounting with close coordination, financial reporting and audit requests.
• Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, posting and vendor reconciliations.
• Monitor AP aging, payment terms and vendor records for accuracy.
• Investigate discrepancies and ensure proper approvals and internal controls.
• Manage Medius and related AP workflows, including system administration and reporting.
