Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge is seeking an Accounting Associate to handle general accounting functions including General Ledger, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cash, and Controls. The role supports the Lodge Director of Finance in maintaining financial records and auditing transactions.

Essential duties include organizing files, overseeing cash handling, assisting with purchasing, and month-end close. Experience in accounting and strong communication skills are required; hospitality industry

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong math and communication skills.
• Experience with computers and data entry; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Organize, secure, and maintain files, records, cash and equivalents per policy.
• Oversee cash handling and deposits; communicate variances to management.
• Assist Director of Finance with purchasing and expense management.
• Aid internal control reviews and month-end close procedures.
• Reconcile credit card transactions and manage company card usage.
• Support contracts and licenses management.
