Job summary

Verizon seeks an Assoc Engr-Account Svcs to join a team delivering managed support services with specialized solutions, handling real-time incidents, triaging issues, and engaging vendors to resolve problems. The role includes consulting on client network improvements and supporting high-profile events.

This 24x7 position may involve holidays, overnight shifts, and weekends; candidates should be prepared for a hybrid work setup within commuting distance of defined locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work experience or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time incident management during service-related issues, triage and troubleshoot to identify root cause, elevate and engage internal/external vendors until issue resolution.
• Consult on improving client network connectivity and support services.
• Assist with Event Support for high-profile clients (NFL, FIFA, NHL, NASCAR); may include holidays, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Provide direct support for service management including incident management, triage, trouble ticket handling, coordinating maintenance communications.
• Provide problem management support to detect root causes and mitigate future events in partnership with vendors.
• Monitor client performance and OnSite LTE equipment; validate alarms and create tickets when actionable.
• Generate and format custom reporting to monitor KPIs across technologies and implement action plans when metrics fall below targets.
• Schedule and install relevant software prior to implementation and verify successful installation with up-to-date manufacturer software/firmware.
