Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Associate Account Manager to proactively maintain and grow relationships with its existing commercial and industrial customers in a defined territory. You will make outbound and incoming calls to retain business and expand penetration of the full Republic Services product suite.

The role requires strong customer service skills, knowledge of services, pricing and the ability to perform contract renewals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of customer service experience.
• Must reside in Central or Eastern time zones.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and retain existing customers by proactively contacting them daily.
• Develop knowledge of services, pricing structures and offers to assigned customers.
• Perform contract renewals with existing customers to extend relationships and profitability.
• Respond to cancellation requests per escalation policy.
• Utilize Salesforce to document activities (calls, meetings, proposals).
• Increase customer penetration by selling the full Republic Services product suite.
